The only difference between law and mathematics is seen in the methods used in these two concepts to achieve this goal. Law and mathematics are essential in our daily lives and play an important role in our decisions and experiences. Moreover, with the help of mathematics, long rules can be expressed in a shorter form and different perspectives can be developed. Both the mathematical analysis of cases and the mathematical expression of laws are thought to help judges make effective decisions; it also helps to enforce deterrent punishments. However, it is difficult to find a mathematical expression for any legal concept.
