From a jurisprudential perspective, sexual use of sex robots can be equated to masturbation, which, while religiously prohibited, is not legally criminalized and thus cannot be pursued in criminal courts. Furthermore, the principle of legality prevents reliance on Islamic sources for criminalization in the absence of specific legislation.
