Feasibility of Developing the Powers of Bailiffs in Intangible Crimes in Iran's Criminal Justice System

Background and Aim: By separating crimes into tangible and intangible, and considering the importance of the crime scene in tangible crimes and stating the special characteristics of intangible crimes, the legislator has granted relatively broad powers to the officers in dealing with crimes, in order to identify them from this point of view. Criminals and, as a result, to create public security in society, action should be taken because the necessity of dealing with violators of the rights of individuals and society is to have the authority to deal with them.
Materials and Methods: The research method in this research is descriptive-analytical.
Ethical Considerations: All ethical principles have been observed in the writing stages of this research.
Findings and Conclusion: In the feasibility study of the expansion of powers to the bailiffs regarding intangible crimes with a descriptive analytical approach with library tools, we found that there are challenges and legal and executive obstacles in this, that despite the existence of numerous regulations, privacy violations privacy and citizen's rights, the multiplicity of officers and the absence of a separate law in this regard prevent the development of powers, which requires a review of the law and special measures in this regard. Based on this, it is necessary to supervise the training of the officers, to specialize the actions and legal supervision of their performance. |
